Accrington face joint third placed club Great Harwood on Sunday at The Evolve Solutions Cliffe Park.

Great Harwood beat Church last Sunday whilst Accrington were on the wrong end of a thriller against Rishton.

Accrington make one change with Yousuf Ali replacing Jimmy Hayhurst.

Great Harwood are unchanged.

The seconds host Great Harwood in the reverse fixture.

The thirds face East Lancs at Alexandra Meadows on Saturday.

The club is looking for an umpire for Saturday's 3rd XI game at East Lancs.

Weekend teams

This season we have a double Looking Back Feature going back to 1993 when Neil Johnson was professional and also to 2013 when the club won the Lancashire League title for the last time with Ashar Zaidi as professional.

In the soggy 1993 season Accrington suffered back to back defeats in the Worsley Cup tie at Rawtenstall on Saturday May 22nd and at Church the following day in the league Accrington went down to a 5 wicket defeat.

Accrington's great start to the 2013 season continued with a sixth successive win in the league against East Lancs at Thorneyholme Road. on Saturday May 18th. The following day Accrington were beaten for the first time, losing in the Worsley Cup against Rishton by just 1 wicket.
