1891     Accrington join the North East Lancashire Cricket League.

  23rd July   Saul Wade (P) in scoring 104* v Lowerhouse at Accrington becomes the first Accrington player to score a Lancashire League century.
  17th Sept   Johnny Moore (54) becomes the first Accrington amateur to score a Lancashire League half century at Ramsbottom.
1893   2nd XI Accrington join the newly formed Junior League.
  5th July   Saul Wade (P) (60) and S.M. Holden (35) create a club record opening partnership, against two professionals, of 105 against Lowerhouse at Accrington.
  8th July   Johnny Bank in scoring an unbeaten 111, becomes the first amateur to score a century in the Lancashire League.
1895 24th May   Johnny Bank (86*) and Bobby Clegg (33) put on a Lancashire League record stand of 124 for the 10th wicket v Haslingden at Accrington.
1897 12th June   Walter Hall (P) (86*) and J.F. Knutton (80*) put on 159 for the 3rd wicket v Todmorden at Todmorden.
1900   Billy Ormerod becomes the first Accrington amateur to pass 500 runs in a season by establishing a new batting aggregate record of 583 runs.
1901     The ground is purchased from the trustees of the late Colonel Hargreaves.
  20th April   Walter Hall (P) takes a hat-trick v Colne at Accrington.
  6th July   Jack Finney scores 149 and takes 5-26 v Church at Church.
      Walter Hall (P) creates a new club record for most wickets in a season by a professional in taking 126 wickets at 7.6 each.
      Harry Heaton creates a new club batting aggregate record of 638 runs.
1902     Haslingden are dismissed for 11, Nelson for 13, Enfield for 14, Church for 28 (all won before 4pm), Bacup for 38 and East Lancs for 46.
    Jim Ingram v Nelson bowls through the innings, taking 2 wickets for 1 run.
  19th July   Walter Hall (P) takes 9-44 in the tied game with Rishton.
      Jim Ingram becomes the first Accrington amateur to take 50 wickets in a season.

1909     Johnny Pollard returns figures of 9 overs, 8 maidens, 1 run, 5 wickets v Ramsbottom at Ramsbottom.
1910 10th Sept   Tom Rushby (P) takes 4 wickets in 4 balls v Bacup at Accrington.
1911 22nd July   Charlie Llewellyn (P)(135*) and Billy Ormerod (75*) put on 206 for the 2nd wicket v Haslingden at Accrington.
1912   3rd XI Join the North East Lancs League.
  20th April   Billy Ormerod (100*) and Charlie Llewellyn (P)(100) put on 185 for the 3rd wicket v Bacup at Accrington. In the same match Llewellyn takes 9-23 in 11 overs.
  27th April   Billy Ormerod (77*) and Charlie Llewellyn (P)(92*) put on 155 for the 3rd wicket v Bacup at Bacup.

1916     Lancashire League Champions extending the unbeaten run from July 11th 1914 to June 16th.
      Johnny Pollard creates a new club amateur bowling record by taking 108 wickets at 8.7 each.
      Alec Jackson takes 92 wickets at 8.8 each. In taking 200 wickets between them, Pollard and Jackson create a unique league record.

1937 12th May Professional Jim Bailey becomes the first Accrington player to score a century in the Worsley Cup when he scores 115 against Church
    Jim Bailey becomes the first English professional to score 1,000 runs in a season in the Lancashire League in creating a new club batting record of 1,050 runs. He also had six consecutive innings of 50 or more - 11 in the season, being undefeated on five occasions.
1938 23rd April   Jim Bailey (P) (118) and Les Pilkington (64) share a club record opening partnership of 179 v Lowerhouse at Lowerhouse.
1947 30th Aug   The last two wickets put on 134 runs with Jackie Hope (67*), Frank Rushton (22) and Les Hartley (51*) taking the score from 96-8 to 230-9 v Todmorden at Todmorden.

  1st Sept   Sayajirao Dhanwade (P) takes 7-40, including 4 wickets in 4 balls and 5 in the over v Lowerhouse at Accrington.
1957 29th June 2nd XI Alan Waterworth (83), Brian Rutter (31) and Eddie Robinson (16*) put on 140 for the last two wickets, taking the score from 59-8 to 199 all out v Todmorden.
1959 4th July   Bobby Simpson (P) takes a hat-trick v Nelson at Nelson.
  5th Sept   Bobby Simpson (P) (83) and Russ Cuddihy (80) put on 162 for the 2nd wicket v Todmorden at Todmorden.
      Bobby Simpson creates a new club professional batting record by scoring 1,444 runs at an average of 103.0, including two centuries. He also creates a league record by scoring 11 consecutive 50's and makes a total of 16 in all, topping the Lancashire League batting averages.
1960 4th June   Frank and Derek Rushton are the first brothers to open the batting in a Lancashire League match v Colne at Accrington.
  25th June   Derek Rushton (77*) and Lindon Dewhurst (58*) put on 133 in 74 minutes for the 3rd wicket v Ramsbottom at Ramsbottom.
  16th July   Wes Hall (P) takes a hat-trick and Jack Collier claims five victims (4c, 1st) v East Lancs at Accrington.
      Jack Collier establishes a new club wicketkeeping record of 40 victims in a season.

1965 28th June 2nd XI Jackie Hope (88) and Peter West (44) put on 131 for the 1st wicket v Colne 2nds at Colne
      Ken Grieves (P) wins the Lion Trophy for most Lancashire League runs with 733.
1966 26th June 3rd XI Ian Birtwistle takes 9-8 v Oswaldtwistle Immanuel 'B' including seven clean bowled at Accrington.
1968   3rd XI Alick Ormerod takes 8-11, including 5 wickets in 6 balls in a season which sees him create a North East Lancs League bowling record for most wickets in a season with 93 at 5.9 each.
1969   3rd XI Jim McLean tops the North East Lancs League batting averages with 264 runs at 29.3 and Alick Ormerod tops the bowling averages with 37 wickets at 2.6 each.

  20th June   Alan Worsick takes 8-53 v Haslingden at Haslingden to win the 'Telegraph Tankard' for the best amateur bowling performance of the season.
  25th July   Terry Neville takes 5 catches v Rishton at Accrington.
      Alan Worsick (83 wickets at 10.8), awarded the Lion Brewery Award for the most successful amateur bowler, and Eddie Robinson (75 wickets at 14.2) take 158 wickets between them.
      Terry Neville claims 41 victims to create a new club wicketkeeping record.
      Bruce Francis (P) tops the Lancashire League batting averages with 1,101 runs at 61.2.
1971     Alan Worsick wins the Lion Brewery second bowling prize with 75 wickets at 10.5.
1973     Alan Seiler (P) tops the Lancashire League batting averages with 1,023 runs at 51.2.
  26th Aug 2nd XI Dismiss Lowerhouse 2nds for 8. Mick Hatch takes 5-1.
1974 18th May 3rd XI Mick Donnelly and Malcalm D'Arcy put together a North East Lancs League record 9th wicket stand of 69 v Blackburn Hospitals at Bullough Park.
  2nd June   Peter West (94) and Graeme Fowler (61) put on 160 for the 1st wicket v Enfield at Accrington. This is a club record for amateurs for the 1st wicket.
  6th July   Alan Worsick (P) takes a hat-trick v Church at Church in the Worsley Cup.
1975     Lancashire League Champions - each member of the team, including professional Alan Worsick, has a birth qualification for the club.

  2nd June   Father and son Mas and Mohsin Ahmed lined up on opposite sides at Accrington. Mas played for Enfield and scored 65 whilst Mohsin played for Accrington. The match was abandoned due to rain before Accrington could reply.

      Accrington won a club record 15 Lancashire League matches in succession between September 1st 2012 and June 22nd 2013. The club lost for the first time in 20 league matches when defeated at Ramsbottom on June 30th 2013.
      Accrington won a club record ten successive home league matches in a row between September 8th 2012 and July 27th 2013. The sequence ended when their match against Todmorden was declared a No Result on August 4th 2013.

      Accrington professional Ashar Zaidi broke Bobby Simpson's club aggregate record batting record for most runs in a season in his final match for the club at Colne on September 8th Zaidi hit an unbeaten 91 to finish with 1446 runs for the season.
      Accrington set a new club record for most wins in a season with 22. The clubs winning margin of 54 points was a record since the introduction of 12 points for a win
2014 27th July 2nd XI Marley Ali scored 156 not out at Rawtenstall, which is the record individual score for 2nd XI beating Mark Demaine's 136 set in 1989. He made it off 106 balls with 17 fours and 8 sixes as Accrington chased down 266 with more than 8 overs to spare.
2015 25th May 3rd XI 12 year old Ben Makin takes 7-44 against Rawtenstall 3rd XI and becomes the youngest player to take 5 wickets in a senior game for the club
  21st June 2nd XI Gul Khan takes 7-28 including a hat trick against Ramsbottom 2nds at Ramsbottom
  4th July   Jacob Clarke's figures of 8-35 at Todmorden on July 4th were the best by an Accrington amateur since 1927 when Alec Jackson took 8-20 at Enfield
  11th July   Graeme Sneddon's 152 at Rishton was the highest score by an Accrington amateur since Billy Ormerod hit an unbeaten 169 against Haslingden in 1905

2018 21st April 3rd XI Father, son and daughter Damian, Jacob and Alice Clarke all played in the same team at Middleton
  28th July   Four players Graeme Sneddon, Jon Hayhurst, Keiren Grimshaw and Jacob Clarke hit half centuries in a club record 181 run win at Rishton. Clarke took 20 balls to reach his half century.
      Jacob Clarke is joint winner of the Lancashire League Under 23 bowling prize with 41 wickets
