Promotion chasing Crompton beat Accrington by 126 runs at The Property Shop Arena to go to the top of the table. Denis Louis top scored with 102 in Crompton's 283-9. Louis hit eight fours in making his sixth Lancashire League century. Home professional Jacob Clarke trapped Sam Rigby (10) in front at 21 and Kian Farnworth (3-69) removed professional Mohammad Jamal (22) at 66. Opener Aqib Zulfiqar (38) departed lbw to Siraj Hussain at 97. Harry Dean and Louis then put on 128 for the 4th wicket before Dean was run out for 44. Hassan Fazal (7) fell to Farnworth at 247 and skipper Simon Wright (6) was caught by Ali Hasham also off Farnworth at 258. Yousuf Ali (3-23) removed Adam Good (6) at 265, Louis at 266 and Kain Dean (6) at 277. Asif Fazal (6 not out) and Muhammad Zuhaib were unbeaten at the close. Clarke top scored with 71, including six fours and three sixes in Accrington's 127 all out. Asif Fazal took 4-37 and Harry Dean picked up 3-61. Ali also hit 27, Masihullah Patel 14 and Jon Hayhurst 12.
