Church look favourites to go through in Group A after a typically efficient 6 wicket win at Accrington. A fine display in the field restricted Accrington to 106 all out after the home side had been 51-1 in the 7th over. Ryan North took 3-27, professional Luke Woodcock 3-10 and Levi Wolfenden 2-17 but Church's catching was outstanding, the best effort being Ammer Mirza's catch in the deep to dismiss Paul Carroll after the veteran had just hit the only six of the Accrington innings. North also removed Matt Wilson (9) and professional Will Driver (7). Simon Hanson top scored with 26 before being run out going for a second run off a free hit. Only Jimmy Hayhurst (12) managed double figures of the other batsmen with extras being the second highest scorer with 25. Mirza made 20 and Wolfenden 28 but it was professional Woodcock who steered Church to a third win with an unbeaten 34 with 2 overs to spare.
