Rishton v Accrington Rishton joined East Lancs at the top of Group 3 after a 36 run win against Accrington. John Cordingley hit a 40 ball half century and Peter Sleep hit 36 in Rishton's 165-7. Zahir Afzal (2-36) and Nishit Shetty (2-32) picked up a couple of wickets apiece for Accrington. Adam Wilson top scored with 30 with good support from Stuart Crabtree (21), Graeme Sneddon (18), Matt Wilson (16) and Afzal (14), but Richard Rostron (3-14) and sub professional Gyan Pandey (3-30) took 3 wickets each to restrict Accrington to 129-9.
