Accrington tasted defeat for the third successive day and the second time in 48 hours to Burnley as the home side came out on top with a 6 wicket win. Accrington's rain interrupted innings totalled 84-3 from 17 overs with skipper Matt Wilson unbeaten on 26 and professional Nishit Shetty making 24. Opener Stuart Crabtree also joined the exclusive double figures club with 14 at the top of the order. The visitors innings was halted at 34-2 after 11 overs when a further 15 overs were lost. the final six overs saw 50 runs crashed, but it wasn't enough as Burnley got home with 5 balls to spare. Ben Law hit 24 and Jonathan Clare 21 with David Ormerod picking up all 4 wickets to fall at a cost of 52 runs.
