Nick Westwell claimed his 600 league and cup wicket for Church in his sides 8 wicket win at Accrington, one of his former clubs. A 2nd wicket stand of 88 between Mohsin Ahmed (54) and Adam Barnes, who hit a career best 43, took Accrington to 184-8. Mohsin hit his 1,000th Lancashire League run for Accrington during his innings. Abbas Sadiq hit a late unbeaten 18 with Craig Fergusson taking 4-25 and John Seedle enjoying a return to one of his old stamping grounds with 3-25. Church professional Greg Mail then struck a superb unbeaten 126 with twenty fours and three sixes as Church strolled home. Fergusson chipped in with 34 and yet another former Accrington man Mark Aspin hit 20.
