Accrington notched up a fifth win of the season thanks to sub professional Peter Gladigau, from Norden, who took 6-27 to bowl his side to a 13 run win over Lowerhouse at Thorneyholme Road. Billy Rawstron hit 48, Paul Barratt 46 and Martin Whittle 31 in Accrington's 177-7. Sub professional Dave Callaghan picked up 3-61 but he became one of six victims for the South Australian Gladigau. Gary Moorhouse top scored with 48, Dave Whalley hit 41 and Phil Astin 25 in the visitors score of 164-9. Scorecard
