It was almost a case of all the fours when Accrington beat previously undefeated league leaders East Lancs at Alexandra Meadows by 5 wickets.
Graham Beech and Alan Richardson both made 44 in a 3rd wicket stand of 86 and Ian Birtwistle took 4-31 in Accrington's fifth win of the season.
Dave Parsons also took 3-60 with professional Alan Worsick getting rid of his opposite number Allan Border for 22 in the home sides 138-8. Opener Graham Tattersall (31), Derek Hollinrake (24), John Seedle (22 not out), skipper Jim Kenyon (18) and Roger Sharp (14 not out) all chipped in with Seedle and Sharp adding a vital 35 for the 9th wicket.
Border opened the bowling and soon removed Geoff Hayhurst (5) and John Swanney (0) at 11. Beech and Richardson dug in and added 86 before both fell to Border (4-50).
Worsick made an unbeaten 30 to see his side to victory with almost 2 overs to spare. Scorecard
