Accrington Cricket Club has been awarded the ECB Clubmark Accreditation. The club was presented with the ECB Clubmark Certificate at a recent meeting of the Hyndburn Cricket Development Group at Accrington Town Hall by Lancashire Cricket Board's Cricket Support Officer Dave Reddy. Accrington President Peter Barratt said: "John Burnyeat and myself have been working to attain the Clubmark for sometime. Since receiving the Certificate, We have been meeting club members to form a sub committee to ensure that all the necessary paperwork and action will be completed before May 2009 when an inspection will take place to ensure that we are up to standard with our file and that all the relative things are in place." |
