Accrington have reached the 2nd Round of the Get Solutions Worsley Cup for the first time since 2003 by virtue of a 1st Round Bye in the 2008 competition which was drawn at the monthly Lancashire League Meeting. Accrington, whose last won a cup match in 2001 are joined in the 2nd Round by Haslingden who also received a Bye. Holders East Lancs will meet Enfield in the 1st Round for the second year running. Nelson take on Burnley at Seedhill in a local derby and the other Pendle clubs Colne and Lowerhouse will meet at the Horsfield. Last season's runners up Bacup will entertain Church at Lanehead. Todmorden visit Rawtenstall and champions Rishton will play Ramsbottom at Acre Bottom. The ties will be played on Sunday May 18th with a reserve date of Saturday May 24th.
